Market Research

I work with companies large and small to help them tune in to the voice of the customer through research in order to create actionable insights to drive the business forward. During my research career I have worked with and for a variety of B2B and B2C companies and industries including consumer packaged goods, specialty foods, live events, insurance, entertainment, and technology facilitating quantitative and qualitative research.

Nonprofit Management

I am currently serving as President of the Junior League of Portland, Maine, a 94-year-old community institution. I have volunteer management experience as Teams Chair with Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure (Portland), managing volunteers across New England for the Alumnae Admissions program for Smith College, and on the Vestry of the Episcopal Church of St Mary in Falmouth, Maine.

Social Media

I specializing in social and blogging event coverage, and demystifying social media through onboarding coaching for clients - leading them from "What is a hashtag?" to "I can do this!" I have appeared on various ‘people to follow’ lists including 10 Great #MRX Tweeters Every Market Researcher Should Follow, Most Influential Client-Side Tweeters, and the Wearables 1k.

Wearable Tech

I was thrilled to be selected as a Google Glass Explorer in 2013 and have spent the last several years testing out uses of Glass in the market research and social media spaces. I am an advocate for wearable technology (both active and passive data gathering), have appeared on the Wearables 1k Twitter list, and am an enthusiastic observer of the Quantified Self movement.
